Neal Topliff began his musical journey at the age of five when he was introduced to his first love the piano. He went on to play the violin, French Horn, electric and acoustic guitars and even toured the U.S., Hawaii, Japan and Hong Kong with the elite handbell choir, Strikepoint. While attending college, Neal spent much of his free time in the practice halls, playing the piano for several hours a day as he wrote many of the songs that appeared on his debut CD, First Love.
First Love, was released through Page Music in 1998 and was the top selling solo piano CD for the Tennessee based company. A year later, Topliff decided to form his own production company, Harbour Light Music, which his wife, Beth, named in 1999 after a trip to Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia. Since forming Harbour Light Music, Topliff has successfully realeased 10 solo piano recordings including: First Love, Pictures, Snow Angels, Up North, The Water’s Edge, Northwoods Retreat, A Peaceful Place, Hopes and Wishes, A Midnight Clear and The Path. He has also released several compilation CD’s and specialty products including: The Best Of Neal A.Topliff , The 4 Volume Artist Series CD’s and The Artist Series Greeting Cards (with a 1 hour CD included.) He produces Custom Cover CD’s of his music for Bed and Breakfasts and other businesses across the country. Sacred Moments is his newest release featuring 14 original songs of finger style acoustic guitar. His music has been described as soothing and addictive and he is most often compared with Jim Brickman, Yanni, and George Winston. Neal has appeared on numerous radio and television programs and has been performing works from his catalog for over 16 years.
